Novusbox was truly born from a common problem in our own yard .An ugly, exposed garbage bin. We realized this eyesore was ruining our otherwise beautiful outdoor space. So, we did what any dedicated homeowner would do—we headed to the garage, bought some wood, and built our very first custom enclosure.

It was simple, but effective!
A few days later, our neighbors noticed the difference and were immediately interested. Seeing the genuine demand, and fueled by a desire to share this practical beauty, we posted photos online. The response was incredible, leading us to open a big workshop, later we then partnered with a dedicated team in South Africa to help us grow.

Today, Novusbox is built on that same original, genuine impulse: to turn an eyesore into an elegant feature. Every one of the 700+ units we’ve since produced across South Africa is crafted with care, using only quality treated wood and safe, non-toxic waterborne preservative paint. We believe functional necessities, like trash bins, should not compromise the beauty and pride you take in your home.
